17th C. Brass Candlestick

Amish Horse Toy

Hand carved and made by the Amish. Late 19th to early 20th C. This horse was most likely part of a set that would have included a wagon of some sort. He still retains his original black painted surface and most of his original leather tack. He has early nails for eyes and a real horse hair tail. His legs are secured with nails. Measuring approximately 12" long. A great piece of folk art!
