​Diminutive PA Paint Decorated Blanket Box

This stunning paint decorated blanket box came out of Pennsylvania.  It is a six board box with bread board ends on the lid.  The case is finely dovetailed with applied edge molding along the base.  It has its original turned feet that are mortised through the base.  The interior has a nice till with lid having an ogee edge, making it extra special.  The paint color is blue, but has a green cast in areas.  That could be because of a different base color.  There is a lock, but no key.  But what really makes this piece special (besides its fantastic paint surface) is its diminutive size.  It measures just 36 1/2" wide by 17 1/2" deep by 21 1/2" tall.  I stunning small blanket box that will fit into tight spaces.
