​Large Carved Wood Urn of Fruit

This stunning item is hand carved from two joined pieces of pine.  It is in the form of a tall compote filled with fruit and vegetables.  It is quite heavy for its size and measures 23 1/2" tall by 17" wide, with the base measuring 8 1/2 square (give or take a half inch).  A wonderful early decorative piece of folk art!  Late 19th C.  In untouched, as found condition.
