Concert Hall Architectural Ornament
This remarkable early piece is made entirely out of mahogany. Each instrument is superbly hand carved and then secured together with earkt rose-head nails. It is presumed that it may have once been part of an architectural surround over a doorway to a concert hall. It looks outstanding when hung over a piano or in a music room of any sort. A true masterpiece! Late 18th to early 19th Century. Measuring 65"w by 19-1/2"t by 5"d.
From the renown Marcy Carcy Collection.
