Doris Stauble Arrangement

Doris Stauble (1917-2007), was a well-known Antiques Dealer in Wiscasset, Maine. But she may be better known for her original creations, using antique containers as the receptacles for her arrangements that consisted of Victorian millinery, fruit, and flowers. Each was a one-of-a-kind piece that showcased her artistic eye for color and form. Her arrangements can be found in some of the finest collections in the country and are very sought after today.  This one has a variety of papier mache' fruit and florals along with a tiny bird on top.  All of which was placed in a piece of antique iron stone.  Measuring approximately 11 1/2" by 11 1/2" by 10 1/2" in height.  A wonderful decorative and collectible piece!
