​Early Paint Decorated Flat Top Chest

This early chest is paint decorated in a very naive fashion, with red dots all over a black ground, with an edge border in red.  On the center of the lid is also a naive floral embellishment, also in red.  The chest is dovetailed, with early wire hinges.  It is decorated on the top and all four sides.  The interior has a till, which is also decorated.  The interior is also covered with early hand stenciled wall paper.  A very early and folky piece!  Perfect for stacking!  

Measuring   25" wide by 13" deep by 10 1/2" tall.
