This lovely early Delaware Valley ladderback side chair retains much of its original salmon paint with bittersweet detailing. The superb finials and front stretcher show the fine craftsmanship that went into the making of this chair. In very sturdy condition with no breaks or repairs. The seat is a well done replacement with a warm mustard paint. ca 1820-1830. It measures 41-3/4" from the floor to the tip of the finials, with a seat height of 16-3/4".
