This exquisite Parchesi game board is finely inlaid with oak, walnut, maple, mahogany and ebony. The back side of the board is a simple checkerboard inlaid with maple, walnut and mahogany. The board dates to the first quarter of the 1900s. It is in excellent condition with only very minor surface imperfections. It has been revarnished and there is an eye screw in the top edge of the board (not seen in the photos). It measures 19-1/4" square by
1-3/8" thick. Masterfully done with a great graphic appeal, yet functional. A super piece of folk art!
