19th C. Felt Applique Still Life

 A mid 19th C. crewel and wool applique on felt, depicting a basket of fruit that includes a pineapple, grapes, cherries, plums, strawberries, and lemon, with a bird flying above.

Housed in a period lemon gold frame.  Measuring 17.5" x 15". Condition: Minor losses to

some areas of wool and stitching, minor gilt loss to frame.
