Painted Firkin - Sheridan Loyd American Antiques

This is a lovely matched pair of decorative ironwork candle sconces, meant to be mounted into a wood mantle, but they can also be hung on the wall as demonstrated. Each is embellished with daffodils, foliage and six scrolling arms with seven prickets for holding candles. With a marvelous aged patina. Most likely French in origin. Measuring 29" tall by 12" wide. I very decorative and functional pair of Folk Art candle sconces!
