This exquisite 19th C. riding crop has a beautifully hand carved hard wood handle (possibly ebony) that is done in the form of a Jester's head. It is mounted on a fancy paint decorated wooden shaft, ending with a fitted brass tip. The hand paint decoration is done in brushed swirls of grays and blacks that run the lenght of the shaft. All original. Measuring
23"in length; with the carved handle measuring just 3". English in origin. A super piece of paint decorated folk art!
