This fabulous dressing mirror is all original in “as found” condition.  The frame is embellished with a pointing hand, a flag, beveled mirrors, palm fronds and stars.  It also has raised gold lettering showing that it was made in “Lomax ILL” with the initials of “HPD”  "L" and "H" and is dated "JAN 1928".   It has a single drawer with a star escutcheon.  Measuring 31"t by 23"w by 12"d.  A terrific piece of early 20th C. Midwestern folk art! (some surface imperfections and minor touch-ups)
