This is a wonderful Queen Anne mirror in a somewhat primitive form, but still having an elegant arched and curved cornice. It dates to the late 1700's and is constructed entirely out of pine. The back is almost better than the front! It is made out of one solid, hand carved, piece of wood with the front framework applied and attached with early rosehead nails. The mirror appears to be original to the frame. Fantastic patina! It measures 15-3/4" tall by 9" wide and is approximately 1-1/4" thick.
