​19th C. Goldsmiths Trade Sign

This outstanding sign is hand relief-carved out of solid mahogany and embellished with gold leaf.

Found in an attic in middle Virginia.  An extraordinary find!  Minor surface imperfections consistent with age.  Measuring approximately 49" in length by 11" tall.
