Wonderful 19th C. carved and painted architectural element off of a horse drawn hearse. Hearses of the 19th C. generally had these decorative carved finials on the top corners, and sometimes the top sides, of the hearse. Now , when found, they serve as a great piece of folk art and can be used as ornamentation on a shelf. This one measures 13-1/2" tall by 9" wide. $495.00
