17th C. Brass Candlestick

This is a wonderful set of early 20th C. horse brasses. These brasses are mounted on their original leather strapping with original brass buckles. The brasses on this set appear to be Masonic in nature. There are Moons, Carpenters Tools, a Sun and a Rooster. I am not sure if the Rooster has a significance to the Masons or not. But still and unusual set of early horse brasses. These look great hung on a wall! Most likely English in origin.
