​19th C American Pastoral Scene

This lovely painting is finely executed, yet naive.  The trees are quite remarkable, showing very fine detail.  With a mountain and waterfalls in the background with a family looking over the brook that ends in a lower pond with a young couple seated on the bank, and an older woman, and various livestock.  Unsigned. Measuring 29 x 36-1/4 in.   Housed in a fine period carved gilt wood frame, 30-1/4 x 40-1/2.   Craquelure, stretcher marks, and minor paint chips in lower right corner, all consistent with age.  Could use a good cleaning.  Frame with wear and rabbeted out to fit.  All consistent with age.
