Ca. 1850-1890 Folding traveling game board in untouched polychrome paint, with playing surface for checkers, chess, backgammon and The Mill Game. Original fine wire snipe hinges. 8” x 8” closed. Typically these were made by German immigrants. But it also could have been made by a German company for the American market. Surface imperfections consistent with age and use. A sweet and colorful piece!
