This outstanding early blanket chest has the best free-form original paint decoration, with black circular swirls over an ochre ground and black angular stripes on the lid edge and feet. The chest sits on nice bracket feet, has its original hinges and an interior till. Has a dovetailed case with applied edge molding on the lid and base. In wonderful dry, as found condition.
