18th C. Pennsylvania Hanging Corner Cupboard
This classic 18th C. Southeastern Pennsylvania high country hanging corner cupboard has a single wood-pinned raised panel door that opens to a bead molded interior of two shelves, both original. Below, a single thumb-molded drawer with original brass pull. And beneath that, a second pair of graduated bow-shaped shelves in a fishtail base. Above, a stepped crown molding with intact dentil trim. Case and drawer are both dovetailed. Poplar with pine as the secondary. Measuring 54 ½" tall by 26" wide, taking an 18" deep corner. Ca 1780-1800. Berks or Lancaster County.
