19th C. Redware Spaniel

This fabulous redware dog is painted in brown, black, and beige tones, with a collar, tag and chain.  He is in the form of a seated spaniel.  Probably Pennsylvania or southern.  A wonderful early redware sculpture.  In fine condition with surface wear consistent with age.  No breaks or chips.  Only firing cracks seen on the base.  Measuring  approximately 10-12" tall.
