New England, most likely northern coastal Massachusetts, circa 1720-40. Flame grain maple with white pine as the secondary wood,. with period, and possibly original, brasses. In a desirable diminutive size, measuring 64" tall by 20" deep by 36" wide. Condition: minor early repair to waist molding, replaced acorn drops, and a few age cracks, all consistent with age.
