This late 19th C. owl is actually a therom, comprised of stuffed, painted velvet. It is by far one of the most unique pieces of folk art I have ever had the pleasure of offering. This little fellow has such character and a wonderful look with a quirky nose and glass eyes. A real show stopper! The base appears to be artist board that was covered in velvet and attached at the base to support the owl. A very unique, one-of-a-kind piece!. Measuring 5-1/2" tall by 4" wide by 4-1/2" deep (out to his nose).
