19th C. Stuffed Tinsel-Work Cat

This wonderful cat is made from stuffed burlap or linen fabric that is covered in Victorian Christmas tinsel, done in varied silver and copper colors to create a spotted cat with attitude. It is mounted on a black velvet backing and showcased in a shadowbox with a fine Victorian period frame. One of my all-time favorite pieces. A terrific piece of folk art! Measuring 22" wide by 24" tall by 4.5" deep.
