This is a fantastic 19th C. American cloth

Topsy-Turvy Doll that came from the renowned

collection of Helen & Steven Kellogg of Sandy Hook, Connecticut.  Both dolls have painted faces and original clothing.  The white doll wears a ruffled bonnet and a lovely peach striped dress.  The black doll wears a very plain dress with an apron and a red print bandana.  The dolls measures approximately 19-1/2" in height. 

All original.  Ca. 1850-1870.
