Paint Decorated Child's Windsor High Chair

This early compass-seat child’s Windsor high chair is in its original worn black painted surface with tiny traces of yellow line detailing, most of which is worn off. It dates to the very early 19th C. The two side stretchers are worn thin from a child using them as a step for getting into the chair. A fine little Windsor high chair! Measuring 33 1/4 “ tall.
