Carved Wooden Pineapple

This early decorative carved piece has a wonderful worn surface. In the form of a pineapple, often thought of as a symbol of good luck, it is a great piece of folk art. It may have once been an architectural ornament. There are small holes at the base and top where nails once were.

Measuring 27" tall. In fine condition with the exception of one small chip at the top which can be been seen in the photos.
