Yellow Farm Bucket
This primitive yellow farm bucket came straight out of Maine. It is a staved bucket, secured with wire bands with a wire and wood handle. I am not sure what it was used for. But given the small hole on the top I would guess milk. It is missing its wooden lid. Mid to late 19th c. Measuring 14" diameter at the base by 12.5" tall (with handle down). Wear and staining (as seen in photos) consistent with age and use.
