This nice little step-down Windsor chair, dating to the early 1800's, has a wonderful, original, worn black painted surface. The seven-spindle back has a nice curved arch, making it a very comfortable chair. Its unusual cut-out ears give it that little "extra something". A sweet little chair that is very sturdy and usable. The contured seat also adds to its comfort. It has one very early, well done repair that is so small it is almost invisible. A great little side chair with super surface!
